Axe throwing is a completely safe activity if safety guidelines are followed and proper precautions are taken, i.e., closed-toe shoes are worn, safety rules are followed, and all participants listen to the coaches. Big Tex Axe Throwing is a fully insured business.

Yes. All potential axe throwers will be required to fill out a waiver BEFORE throwing begins. Minors are allowed to throw and will require a legal guardian to sign a waiver for them.

Any type of comfortable clothing that allows you to freely move. Closed-toe shoes are required. No sandals, slides, or flip-flop-type shoes are allowed.

Absolutely. We do recommend that you all drink responsibly. Big Tex Axe Throwing coaches do reserve the right to stop play if safety becomes a concern.

The most important rule is not to be an Axehole or a drunk Axehole.
Closed-toe shoes are required.
Don’t touch the blade…...these are sharp objects that will cut you!
No trick shots allowed.
No hand offs. When done throwing, axes are to be placed in the bin or on a block of wood provided by Big Tex Axe Throwing.

After booking your desired date and time, Big Tex Axe will arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled event time to set up. At least 1 coach will remain at the event to make sure everyone has a AXEceptional time. The event will go to the end of the scheduled time before the trailer is broken down. There will be plenty of time after that to schedule your next event.

Yes. You may reschedule or cancel 7 days prior to the originally scheduled event for a full refund. For any cancellations within 7 days of the originally scheduled event, the deposit is non-refundable or the event can be rescheduled with that deposit.
